I had big old doe come in with a shot to her shoulder, was walking fine but had to take her out she was injured and older,,Of course she dropped and i get down, she got up and ran into river then died, thank God for wadders in 18 deg. 4.5 ft deep michigan river weather.,,as I brought her back to my smiling son by the shore I thanked God for then recovered harvest and another memory I will never forget. That is what it is all about and taught my son a great lesson in the mean time that if firing the arrow or pulling the trigger you better do everything to retrieve the beautiful animal,,, ,,,
