I had booked the 10 am pet scan. My mom and Mr Thyroidgal and my dad came to support me. They finally called my name. I followed the tech to this weird trailer and we stepped in this ghetto elevator to get into the trailer. I went in and they began with the iv. I had instructed the tech where they usually had luck finding my veins he didnt listen. They told me to rest but I was not feeling right. I felt really nauseas like dizzy and like I was going to barf. Then I hear the techs talking her veins collapsed what do we do ? Do we call the doctor? I then get up open the door and ask whats going on? They tell me my veins have collapsed and instead if the dye going in my blood stream it went through my whole body and that they had to stop the test and reschedule. I started to feel worse and worse. I then could not even walk without assistance. The techs had to help me to get me to where my family was. They had to get me a wheelchair. They wheeled me to the car I felt so sick. I was supposed to go my cousin Dereks going away party but there was no way. My mom drove myself and Mr Thyroidgal home. I could not even eat. I went straight to bed. I woke up with no energy and dehydrated. I could barely walk myself to the bathroom. I could not believe I was going to have to do this all over again. But I knew I had to. I was not giving up. My cousin Derek came over to say goodbye and I remember him telling me everything was going to be ok after I told him everything. At that time it was enough.
