I had fun speaking at Irvine Improv today. I will say it was challenging. I have been spoiled by spending the last year at places like events, seminars, wide open minded places. I have a different story with comedy clubs. I spent years in a world where a lot of people were cynical and dark, including myself. I totally understand it. I know very well how a lot of people feel about certain things and when I walked into the comedy club to speak, I felt like someone who went through a shift, going back to their exs house to prove that they were ok. Its like when you change and you want your parents to know it. Todays talk was amazing, but I am spoiled by some really awesome crazy talks and gigs in my life. When I feel permission to talk that way, I am on fire. I am also selling my house this week and letting go of tons of other things so its been a crazy time. I am excited about what I will have to become to make this the most amazing main stream show that will have a purpose and voice. Every time I hit a new challenge I get excited to see what it will cause me to have to become. Its all just thoughts and beliefs and I get to let go of them. Thank you everyone for coming. This event was awesome, but better is on the way.
