I had lunch yesterday at a restaurant on the Richmond CA Marina. They were asking for donations to provide Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless in the surrounding area. They plan to provide dinner for 600 to 800 Homeless individuals IN THEIR BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT. And the plan is to have a health fair at the same time with health screening and flu shots. They will send out busses to collect the guests and return them to their locale. The name of the restaurant is SALUTE.. I applaud them for their community spirit.
