I had my first follow up appointment with my radiation oncologist today. He said I was healing very nicely. Although there is no test to indicate whether or not all the cancer is gone, it is presumed I am cancer free because of the amount of radiation I received. Thats the good part....when I asked what the likelihood is that it will return, he said I have a 10% chance of it coming back. I am grateful it is gone, but for some reason, I keep focusing on that 10% figure he gave me today. I will continue to pray that I remain cancer free and I ask that all my friends please pray for the same.
