I had my gallbladder surgery last Wednesday... Im home recovering. Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and experiences a couple of weeks ago when I wrote on here. I stayed over night in the unit for observation because surgery took 3 hrs instead of 1 and with CF and all my meds, my surgeon felt better if I stayed. My gallbladder was an ugly mess... it was still laparoscopic but took so long because it was inflamed and all scar tissue. My surgeon said I had to of had many minor attacks (besides the two major ones I was well aware of) that I passed off for something else because of all the scar tissue. So I needed this out. I had no complications during surgery or coming off the vent in recovery, thank God! That was my fear. Thank you Cysters and Fibros for your encouraging words! :)
