I had my regularly scheduled appointment with my chiropractor today and realized that I only have two more appointments with him left until I head off to Scottsdale for surgery! I do trust the fine folks at Laser Spine Institute implicitly, however that does not detract from the anxiety I am beginning to feel! I know things will come out well and when I am back to work in a few months, I will look back and say to myself That was not so bad at all. But for now, anxiety overload has set in! I did wake to a surprise call from my best friend Lisa Denback this morning. She is in town for 3 day and our other bestie Mickey Wisnewski is coming in today as well! I am not sure what we will do this afternoon, but at least I will be with good friends and in great spirits. For the first time ever, I will use a walker. I know it sounds lame but it helps with the pain, stabilizes me, and give me a seat in a hurry when the pain becomes unbearable. I just wanted to rant about my day as it has been thus far. Believe it or not, all the typing has slowed my heart rate and lessened the anxiety a bit. I have laundry going and will start packing needed items tomorrow for my trip to AZ for surgery.
