I had nearly forgotten how much I enjoy the sound of people about, upstairs. Beth lived here with us for a short while between earning her masters and doctoral degrees at Galway (Ireland). Since then, we have only really been using the first floor, at least for living rather than only for storage. I like the sound of footsteps upstairs again. Ill only have it for another day. For now, its back to baking and cooking. I seem to have bitten off a bit more than I can chew (as it were). Just getting, maybe, 1/4 way through meal prep yesterday, laying out pre-feast, and finishing the cleaning before all had me really wiped out --- especially since I was up since before 2 AM yesterday morning. Last night I was able to sleep a bit. Onward and upward. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
