I had no idea the peasantry was this common... reddit/r/pcmasterrace/comments/2bertl/i_had_no_idea_the_peasantry_was_this_common/ • I hate it when peasants say that 30fps has a cinematic feel. That is the most bullshit thing Ive ever heard. • Cinematic, adjective, si-nə-ma-tik 1: of, relating to, suggestive of, or suitable for motion pictures or the filming of motion pictures From Wikipedia (on Frame Rates): In the motion picture industry, where traditional film stock is used, the industry standard filming and projection formats are 24 frames per second (fps)...30p is a progressive format and produces video at 30 frames per second. Progressive (noninterlaced) scanning mimics a film cameras frame-by-frame image capture. The effects of inter-frame judder are less noticeable than 24p yet retains a cinematic-like appearance. • They are right...sort of cinema plays at 24-20 fps. thats what they mean when they say that. • Seriously? Impressive? What was he expecting? 20? Like..for real? 30 is not impressive. 60 is not impressive. 60 is a standard for games, as they are something interactive and are made to be perceived smoothly. Why wasnt pong in 30 frames? Cause an analog knob is moved freely and does not lock in notches, and the only way to make it correspond to the paddle is by making the game update quickly, according to the analog control. Cant these peasants find a valid idea for getting their shit? I have an amazing PC that I love, and I love PCs in general. They will always be superior and we can tweak and mod to our likings. I might pick up a PS4 for my birthday, but that is for exclusives that I really feel that I wanna play. That, to me, is a valid reason. • Your submission has been scanned and automatically tagged - Peasantry. You can find more Peasantry submissions here. My flair choice wasnt suitable?
