I had someone message me here on Facebook to ask if I still workout or if I just report research on fitness these days. Well, I do both. My workouts are very blue collar--just basic weight lifting with nothing fancy. I am age 50 but still lift like I always have... I push the most weight I can while still getting good range of motion and steady tempo. In this short phone video shot today I am doing dumbbell incline bench press. The hardest part is just getting the darn weights up to my shoulders... I lift 100 lb dumbbells for 7.5 reps with full range of motion. I go down to 90 and 80s to get more reps after I go to failure on my heavy sets. I feel like I should be stronger than this by now and my age is no excuse for not getting stronger. I have goals to get stronger.... the 110 lb dumbbells have been sitting there for too long... they have transformation center dust on them. By January I will be stronger. But anyways, I still workout, yes. =)
