I had such a good time playing last night. I did more songs in one sitting last night than I have in a long time. I could taste the rust, but it was fun. I actually played at Cornerstone and came back home to play some tunes for my buddy, Roy Roper’s, 40th birthday party. I can’t believe I use to put on 2 plus hour concerts back in the day. This has inspired me to try and finish these songs I started with Phil Naish and get something out this year. From the bottom of my shallow heart, I thank all you broken brothers and sisters who have encouraged me through these yellowed years. I know how blessed I am to have been adopted into the family of The Man of Sorrows, who is our joy. Thanks for making my twins feel the love too. My family is the most precious piece of music I’ve ever had part in shaping. I’m truly a blessed man. Happy Birthday Roy. Life in the 40’s only gets harder on the body from here, but much better on the mind. You win some, you loose some. You win numbers on the age thing, and loose muscle. It all works out:)
