I had such a great day yesterday! Jim and I went to Clayton to the huge quilt show. Yes, I found myself holding back tears a few times. I found my variegated thread and a quilting stencil of small leaves for the Maple Leaf quilt. We then headed to the Thousand Islands Inn sale and found a milk glass nightstand light just like my Mom had for $3 dollars (dont tell them - I would have paid $25!). I did throw a small donation into the jar though. We then went to OBriens Restaurant and had some pizza and brought home one of their fabulous Italian sandwiches for today. We then sat in the chairs and watched the ships go by. We wandered through the town and hit the Christmas store (yes, I bought only 2 ornaments - a Clayton one and a red cardinal). We then sat for a couple of hours at the Coyote Moon winery lounge outside patio and watched more ships and boats and talked to some folk. Headed home and stopped to Buffalo Wild Wings in Watertown to watch the horsies run. Headed home and I fell right to sleep. Now up to take Robbyn to school for the Boxing Hall of Fame parade in Canastota.
