I had such a great time with my grandbabies these past few days. I did go to Emilys school this afternoon and shared about the Philippines. Shes in the third grade and I expected to only be there at the most 30 min. figured their attention span would play out. Was I ever wrong and pleasantly surprised!! I started a little after 1pm and didnt finish until almost 2:30. These kids showed a real interest in the work there in the Philippines and I was able to share the ministry side of the trips with Fruitful Harvest International Ministries And Compassion For The Fatherless. The asked question after question. They were really interested in the Sandy Chester feeding program for the malnourished children. I saw in one little girls eyes the passion and fire to go...who knows what the outcome will be of this day of sharing how the love of Jesus can make such a difference. I was truly blessed by these kids and Emilys teacher and her heart of compassion. This was not a Christian school, either, which makes it extra special that I had the freedom to share about ministry.
