I had tenants that took advantage of the system and deliberately worked it so they could live off the state. They had one child and got pregnant with another. They were both employed but quickly lost their jobs to get rent, food, the delivery of their 2nd child paid for - compliments of the taxpayers. I witnessed their entitled attitudes and how they played the victim role. They even got an attorney paid for by us when I took them to court to evict them. Makes me sick to see people like this get everything for free. I look at people on welfare a lot different now. I try not to judge them but welfare should be a short term event....not a career choice. Sad. Very sad.
