I had the best made my day compliment from my grandson who has made his home with me the past four years. He said grandma, I do not know if I ever said thank you for teaching me to work hard, ignore and forgive those people who call me the N word and most of all for teaching me not to be jealous but to be happy for those who have bigger houses, more money, etc. I really appreciated his words. He is rather shy and finds it hard to express himself. Others may look down on him but I am proud of him.
