I had the great pleasure of attending a fundraiser for a ministry called faith, hope and love this morning. The ministry was founded by one of my friends Merlin Gonzales. This outreach is helping to start self sustaining food pantries all around indianapolis and surrounding areas. One of the things I learned years ago while going through tremendous financial trauma--was the best thing I can do while facing any adversity is to help others who are worse off then myself. If you have the desire to invest in an outreach to the poor that is impacting out area--please contact Merlin. He is a good man with both the heart and vision to change the lives of those who are simply worried about where their next meal will come from. Also thank you to FHL leader Donna Murr Cherry for inviting me to attend and learn about this awesome outreach.
