I had the most amazing day....my uncle Art on my moms side came to Winnipeg from Edmonton to visit his auntie in the hospital. As my mom has been gone for 23 years now....as well as grandparents etc for the same or longer....I had no idea that I would have a great auntie still around. My moms side of the family are all in Edmonton so I dont see them much. I went to meet my great auntie Delima (but sounds French) today. Shes I think 96...has all of her faculties....and I could see how she must have been a beautiful woman. She said with very broken English how happy she was to meet me and how much I remind her of my mom. I wish I would have known that shes been in Winnipeg all this time...I would have learned so much from her about my mom. It was truly an honour to meet and talk with her (although Im not fluent in French so somewhat hard to understand). She asked me if I was married....I told her no....she asked me if I wanted to be married again...I said I probably would....she said I shouldnt tell you this but WHY? You can do whatever you want! lol TOO FUNNY!!!!
