I had the most amazing thing happen to me this morning. I would call it a God wink but that just doesnt seem big enough to describe what happened. I taught my weekly REFIT class this morning. On Saturdays we all stay after to connect in community. After several women shared tearfully about things that they have overcome, I felt led to share the story about losing my dad 3 years ago. Many of you know that he had a heart attack at the gym where I now teach. As I was telling my story, a woman in my class who had never been before raised her hand. She said I was with your dad when he died and I have always wanted to meet you. She proceeded to tell me that when she recognized something was wrong, she prayed with him while waiting for help. She asked if he knew Jesus, and he pointed to heaven just as he took his last breath. She said that immediately a peace came over the room ❤ This may be a lot to share but I am so overwhelmed with gratitude. I am amazed at how God orchestrates things. I am so thankful that Jane and I crossed paths today- she has truly given me a gift!
