I had the nicest family of 5 tonight at work! They were foreign, their son was fully physically handicap but was so cognitive of the goings on and the humor in the room. I asked where they were from they told me Montreal.... Ahhhh my heart dropped, ached a bit.... Then I looked them in the eye and genuinely congratulated them on their teams win. During their meal their son went from being embarrassed (because of his handicap) and not eating (his mom fed him) to eating and laughing. His mom told me she thinks he liked me because of his reaction to my expressions. They were a pure joy to wait on tonight, wonderful people with beautiful hearts. Their family was full of love even with their sons handicap, all of them laughing, smiling & just enjoying each others time. It was beautiful, completely touching my soul!
