I had the opportunity to talk briefly with my friend Lee Goldberg this evening... We were talking about Boxing in Portland and about last nights event and how boxing has come back around with the help of a strong boxing community and people that know how good this boxing establishment os of the kids. As we were wrapping up our conversation....Lee told me to check out a trailer of a documentary that was made of female boxer Liz Leddy . I met Liz Leddy a long time ago...And I knew a little bit about her.... I knew she was one of Bobby Russos kids.... And I mean that with the most respect. Bobby Russo has taken in and believed in so many kids in the Portland community.... Bobby Russo has given these kids chances nobody else would. The city of Portland needs to recognize this man for all he has done and lives he has saved. Getting back to Liz. She has overcome so much in her life and I am wishing her the very best...I would like to ask you all to go check out this trailer just to get an idea of who liz is and how much the Portland Boxing Club and Bobby Russo has helped make a difference in her life!!
