I had the pleasure of meeting Prof. Arlette Zinck when I visited Edmonton, Canada last year. She has worked tirelessly in helping one of the youngest Guantanamo detainees: Canadian citizen Omar Khadr. I can honestly say that I felt an overwhelming sense of shame, for myself and on behalf of our community. We have hardly done anything for our brothers in that hell-hole on earth. She, on the other hand, single-handedly (with Allahs will) has done more to help our brother Omar than all of us combined. And she is not even a politician - she is an academic who was so moved by Omars plight that she decided to take up his cause. Please read this story and offer her whatever help you can.
