I had the pleasure of spending my morning in OR today with a wonderful skilled veterinarian surgeon from MSU. Last night a trooper from MSP brought in a dog hit by a snow plow, had Dr. Thomas not been visiting the shelter this week the dog would have been put down due to the extent of his injuries(broken pelvis and compound fracture of the rear leg. I’m always amazed at what skilled hands can do. What a gift to have. Trooper Rodriguez is paying for all costs and is adopting the dog. (he lost his K-9 partner last year due to cancer). This handsome white German Sheppard is Lucky that two people were there at the right place and the right time. It makes my heart smile that there’s still people in this world that care to make a difference. May you God bless you both. Thank you both!
