I had the privilege of seeing all the beautiful complicated twists and turns that makeup peoples lives - revealed, healed and loved as I interned P2 @ Pathways last weekend. Plumbing depths, peeling away layers, and telling simple truths - proves that vulnerability is strength, obstacles are opportunities and that everyone is lovable. But it just about did me in. I had to leave work early yesterday and I am still in bed this morning and I am not sure if it was - what I experienced over the weekend or just a bug or some combination of the two. But luckily I had today off. The students in my classes yesterday were so kind to me and brought me snacks and gave me a great deal of love. I need to find a way of releasing all of this because it has physically made me sick - though bed-rest has done wonders and also the play of sunlight through the oak at my window. I am better now but that little glimpse of God (that Pathways gives you) has knocked me off my feet.
