I had the privledge of being at my nephews retirement from the Navy this weekend and I was very proud and honored to be there . It was so touching to see Scott Mullins present his step father Kenneth Wimmer ,who is a vietnam veteran, with the flag that was flown over vietnam in Jan. 2014,in honor of their service there ! Kenneth was so honored to recieve this and that was one time I can say I saw a giant of a man brought to tears! He loves his sons and his pride shows any time he speaks of them ! its rare to see a step family as close as they are ! God has surely blessed them all.
