I had the strangest dream last night. In it, I was working for UPS, delivering what basically amounted to androids. Robots that could pass as human from a distance. Anyways, for some reason I was angry, and on one of these deliveries, I decided it might be fun to power the android on and have it in essence deliver itself. This quickly turned into a mistake as I realized the android was next to useless as they did not have even the most basic of programming yet. One thing lead to another, and I ended up accidentally decapitating the thing. Now, of course, when all this happens, its at night, but Im standing on a well lit porch pulling the head off of what to everyone else appears to be a normal person. I then drag the dead android back to the truck, throw it unceremoniously in the back, and drive off. Once I get back to the distribution center, I look up the tracking number for the delivery and start to go through the damaged package steps. Upon entering the number into the computer, it turns out that my decapitation of the robot had a witness, who thought I was killing a person, and called 911. With some techno wizardry, I managed to get into the 911/police databases and found out that not only had a report been filed, but a swift and extensive warrant less investigation had been started into my life, my browser history, my friends, my contacts, everything, in an effort to prove that I was an agent of ISIS. Because, you know, decapitation. At that moment, I sat back from the desk, my mind racing, what do I do, where do I go, should I bother explaining myself, should I go on the run and disappear, am I being surrounded now as I sit at my work computer. I was about to have an anxiety attack. It was at this point My roommate woke me up, and it was one of those dreams that is so real, so detailed, that you spend a good 5-10 minutes trying to figure out if it was a dream or not.
