I had this dream, this morning. Tina Fey and I were working on a laser, yknow, the sleek, zippy little daysailers, on an amazing day, just like this one. We had the boat up on a rack and were buffing its lime green hull. I started singing that AfroMan song, yknow, the one about getting high. Tina Fey just kinda looked at me, unimpressed, so, I muttered, I dont really, yknow. I dont get get high. Which is true, I dont, but I dont think Tina Fey believed me. Tina Fey just went on buffing the hull. So to break the uncomfortable silence, I said, Hey man, whats it like to hang out with Steve Martin? That must be really cool. And then Tina Fey went on to tell me a story about how it was not cool to hang out with Steve Martin, whom she called Paul, because Steve Martin is really weird about his dog and Steve Martins dog is a little dog and one time Steve Martin made plans with Tina Fey to hang out and do something cool and then Steve Martin dissed Tina Fey because the little dog was sick. Or something. And Steve Martin didnt call. Steve Martin just didnt show up. TIna Fey found out later Steve Martin dissed her because of the sick little dog. Which made it all worse. Then the mockingbird and the Mennonites outside my window woke me up. ~ I think this dream foretells a beautiful future for all of us. World peace and shit.
