I had this interesting talk with a Jehovahs Witness. For those of you that may not know who they are, Jehovahs witnesses knock on peoples doors especially in England and basically try to convert people to their Christian denomination sect. So my door knocks, I open up and the conversation between me and the Jehovahs Witness starts Jehovahs Witness (JW): Assalamu Alikum (so hes noticed I was Muslim because of my cloths, I had my thobe on and my beard gives it away as well I guess lol) Me: Hello JW: I would like you to come to our talk about Jesus, Esa (Again he is using Islamic words to entice me subhanAllah lol) Me: Oh yes Jesus (peace be upon him). He was our great prophet (I smile) JW: (He smiles back) Well Jesus is our LORD and saviour. And this talk will open your eyes to the truth Me: (I smile) Well my eyes are already open (lol). I love Jesus (peace be upon him), he was a great prophet. Why do you call him LORD? JW: Jesus was born from a virgin mother, he had no father, thats a miracle Me: Yes our great Maryam (alahi Salam). (I smile) Mary JW: Yes Mary, so Jesus was a miracle, so this shows he is our GOD Me: Interesting, we Muslims also believe Jesus was born from a virgin mother. But my friend tell me this. Do you believe in Adam (peace be upon him)? JW: Yes of course he is our prophet Me: Ok, so Adam came into existence with no mother or father, which is a bigger miracle. So dont you think Adam has a bigger claim to be GOD then, according to your belief? JW: (SILENCE) At this stage, he changed the subject quickly lol! Then he had to go because his other Jehovahs Witness team was calling him from outside of my front gate, I asked him if he wanted a cup of tea, but he had to go because he was in a rush. Thank you ALLAH (subhanahu wa taala) for allowing me to answer this man in the correct way. May ALLAH (subhanahu wa taala) guide him and us all Ameen.
