I had this long post written out. It was about the discussion my wife and I have to have after people post idiocy on their walls and it fills her stream. The short take away is, for as mad as we get at politicians all using the same stump language --- Americans do it too and with the best of them. Its amazing that this group shes connected all sound exactly the same. Lets see, how could that happen. Im racking my mind. Did they all go away to an economics symposium? Nooooo. Did they all start businesses and are dealing with ten layers of taxes and balancing hiring vs. projected income? Noooooo. Did they study the nuance of international trade and how China doesnt really own much of our debt? Nooooooo. Hmmmm, well then where did these people all get the same opinion? Inspiration from God? No, I think the economics symposium is more likely that that one. Theres this station, this news station. Fix. Frog? No... Fox! Thats how all these people sound exactly alike. Fox in the car, Fox on the tv, Fox on the inter-webs. Hey look, theres propaganda on both sides. But if you just flat out believe things that arent true, you cant look at the other side with such conviction and try to convince them youre right. Take ten minutes and look up the things youre saying from a source that isnt Fox or whoever else those morons have over there. Lit-mist test. Do you believe that China has a huge amount of our debt and that it threatens our national security or economy? Do you believe the government should be able to balance a check book like very other family can? If you answer yes to one of those questions, you need to start fact checking the crap you believe and regurgitate out into the world, which is technically lying. So if youre a Christian doing this, stop breaking theeee ____ commandment. And if you didnt know what commandment tells us to not bear false witness, just keep digging your self a NINE foot hole here. Now, if you answered yes to both of them, well my friend.... youre just dumpster. A receptacle of trash. Youre eating it up and theyre making them millions off of the ad dollars. Because the truth is, neither of those statements are true and they border on the absolute ridiculous.
