I had three people come in to the store last week that used a dark wax unsuccessfully and were in a panic. I often use stain to antique a piece or deepen the color instead of a dark wax so I did a quick video. Note different paint will take to the stain differently and be more careful with lighter color paints when using this technique. Always work in small sections. Note in the very end of the video I said I would wax when finished then use a top coat. I misspoke, but didnt want to reshoot. I will not wax this piece only use a high performance top coat to seal.
