I had to say I was 16 when I was 15-years-old, because I wanted to work and earn my own money and I worked long-term job(s) in the healthcare field and paid lots of money in taxes and whoever FICA is (lol)...lets just say there were more deductions so I paid my dues and other peoples dues too...and I enjoyed what I did and was very good at it as acknowledged by patients and coworkers alike. Most of my BFFs are ex coworkers many still working in the same hospital(s) from the janitors to the chief(s) of staff; I treated them all with respect and they reciprocated. So how dare anyone say that a person is lazy if they are no longer able to work due to physical and/or mental disabilities!!! Youth is wasted on the young or so Ive heard...one day, all our bodies will age, fray and our minds may become forgetful, but rest assured, Ive forgotten more than some of these young whippersnappers know!!! Just because a person looks like they can still work, because of the outward appearance does not mean they can. However, when the time comes when working two-to-three jobs is no longer doable, as in my case, its an uphill battle to receive benefits due, but as with everything else in life--anything worth having is worth waiting for no matter how long it takes even as health deteriorates; one must WAIT and pray its not too LATE as many have died WAITING...#RIP #ShameonourGOVMT!!!
