I had to take Florie to the emergency room. She sent me out to run - TopicsExpress

I had to take Florie to the emergency room. She sent me out to run an errand and when I returned she was in bed moaning in agony. I asked her what her pain level was (1-10). She said 10 and wanted to go to the hospital. We took her there got her checked in and wheeled into a room. The procedure was similar to what I went through when I had kidney stones. They take a blood and urine sample, test it. Then the ER physician made his diagnosis. They gave her a Morphene IV. That worked quite rapidly and worked well. The ER Doctor also prescribed another morphene based pill to compliment the morphene sulfate she is currently taking. This is a fast acting short term painkiller which is to be used whenever she has a pain flare-up. Shes doing better today. This is caused by her tumor pushing against the sciatic nerve.
