I hadnt seen any mice in several days, at least not in the house, - TopicsExpress

I hadnt seen any mice in several days, at least not in the house, and the live traps remained baited and untriggered. I was beginning to think that perhaps the mouse problem had abated, after catching and 21 mice and releasing them over the fence into the vacant lot out back or into the street out front. That, my friends, was a foolish thought. I checked the traps this morning, and two had been triggered. I picked them up and shook them, and could feel the little boogers quivering. I took the traps out back and dumped a mouse into the vacant lot, and one into the parking lot of the apartment building where some of our loud music comes from (why should I keep all the fun to myself?). I took the traps back inside, put them in the sink, and started to wash them so I could reset. Out of one ran another mouse. She scrambled around the sink. Thankfully the sides were too steep for her to climb. (And no, I dont have a garbage disposal and no, I would not have used it even if I did have one). I opened one of the traps and put it in the sink, and the mouse scrambled inside, a bit wet but none the worse for wear. I took the trap out back and gave our friends in the apartments yet another pet. And yes, I did scream like a little girl when the mouse popped out into the sink. What of it? Who among you would not have?
