I hadnt taken too much interest in the NRL match review and judicial process until now with Izaac being found guilty & missing the GF. Im not a lawyer, but work as an advocate, and drafted an analysis of the tackle which I believe has enough detail for Izaac to beat the charge. I tried getting it to Izaacs reps and Rabbits executives, but I think it was ignored.I dont think Izaac had a brain snap, as there was no intent or malice. In a nutshell, Izaac tackled around both legs, there was momentum, SBWs physique is top-heavy and Ben Teo was a 2nd player forcing SBW down which gave the impression that Izaac was solely responsible for lifting. After Izaac was found guilty I even called the NRL to see if there is an appeals process, then called Izaacs manager Martin Tauber. Some people might think why bother. Call me mad, but felt I had to do something as I do not think the punishment fits the crime! Now Ive got that off my chest its time to get over it and gear up for the GF! Go the Rabbits!
