I hardly comment on here but after reading the post I must say this, People who care to comment negative or want to comment as coaches are hired and fired based only on winning or losing. Well first of all coaches are mainly fired because of the way in which they lose a game. So Rick is not 100% correct. It is true that every player plays an important role on the team, but the team of football has different aspects of the game. You have offense, defense, special teams ect...... We have to remember these are kids and football or any sport through a public school program is not all about winning at all cost. If you would read Mendys post she wasnt asking or demanding to start her child for we all know some kids are more talented than others nor was she asking or demanding the amount of minutes her child plays, she was just simply asking to give her child what they have worked for and earned through two a days and practice and that is a chance to be on the field. You give me a 62 220lb kid I will find a way to use him. Part of coaching is putting the right personnel in the right spot on the field and that is the main reason coaches lose their job. And Jaron is a complete idiot , no child that goes out there and work hard and give their best suck. The main focus here is these are kids they are not college or NFL athletes, they go out there and work hard and give it their all for the love of the game and most importantly to represent their school with pride. So its not to much to ask for to give these children the same respect and pride that they give your school. So keep your head up Dylan and stay strong and keep working hard, because one day it will pay off. Dont give them a victory by giving up.
