I hate a serious mommy moment today. Went out with my daughter to run some errands and at lunch time, we stopped at the Chick Fil A in Trinity to get some lunch. It was about to storm...and yet, they had a barely 18 year old girl standing UNDER A TREE, directing traffic. Yes, there was thunder. Yes, I could see lightning. No, it wasnt raining yet. Yes, I asked for the manager. YES, I gave him a very strong talking to, reminding him that we live in THE LIGHTNING CAPITAL OF THE UNITED STATES and that no girls life was worth her minimum wage. He actually had the gall to BLAME HER (She should know better, he says.) I said, Shes doing what you told her to do. BRING HER IN NOW. He called her in right in front of me. My daughter swears she wasnt embarrassed. Of course, shes used to me by now. :-)
