I hate cancer. I want to scream it through the streets. It takes away everything that has ever made you feel safe. Your sanity, your faith, your hopes and dreams and the loves of your life. Why dont we hear more about Pancreatic Cancer. It is a scary silent killer. No symptoms until its already spread to other major organs. Yet, we have no screening or yearly exam for early detection. Our father was diagnosed a month ago and things are moving entirely too quickly. Just a short time ago, he was a very strong and heathy 70 year old man who still climbed trees, hiked, and danced till dawn. This disease is moving so quickly, we are all scrambling to have more time with him. He starts his chemo today with the hope of giving us a few more months. Its not enough. It will never be enough. Please pray for my father to have strength and for my family to find some sort of peace when the fight is too much for him.
