I hate casinos. Is okay to go once in a while with a group or an outing with your spouse but some people go all the time, everyday of every year. They become addicted to gambling and the devil is dancing all around them tempting them to raise the credit card bill telling them they will win if they would just play one more time... then one more time... and on it goes. The devil tells them they will win if they just play one more time. And when you question this urge and temptation from the evil devil then the devil comes back and says, Well if you do not play then how will you know if you would win all your money back? The devil is very cunning. If you let him in you will be tempted and if you are married and with children and you spend all your paycheck how is your wife and yourself going to feed the family? Put gas in the car to go to work or if your car breaks down how are you going to get it fixed? You have no money because the devil has tempted you and you listened to that bastard and his evil spirits to gamble all your money away. Gambling always ends in heavy drinking always. Because you are now in debt and the devil tempts you again by saying, "Oh well go get some liquor and forget about it." Have fun. mmmm..... By the time ya know it you are $30,000.00 to $50,000.00 maybe over $75,000.00 in debt and more. And this is just one week work of gambling. Not to mention the food you purchase and the drinks there. Now you have maxed out all your credit cards and the bank has declined your debit card. What to do? Go home? The devil says go and get drunk. So you do because you do not want to go home and feel bad about gambling all the money away and face your spouse. Now you are in debt and will lose the house because there is no money to pay the mortgage. The utilities have already been turned off because there was no money to pay for them. You do not want to go home so you go out and go to a bar where all your drinks are paid for because somebody heard your story and thinks wow, I am glad I am not you. You and your family end up homeless with no family to help you. You are now living out of your car and your children are in a whole new world of hell. And do you know why? mmm... I will tell you... Because you listened to the devil and his evil spirits and followed what they told you to do. You have a choice and you listened to the worse advise you ever could have listened to. The answer is prayer. When you are tempted pray the Holy Rosary to Our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary. Pray to St. Michael the Arch Angel. He will help you and so will all the Saints in heaven when you call upon them to. Trust in Jesus everyday. Take it one day at a time and with prayer you will overcome temptation. Your wife or husband will be happier. Your children will be in a world that is secure because you are responsible. You acknowledge temptation when it comes knocking and reject it. And do you know why? Because of your love for your faith and family. I hate casinos.
