I hate having to do this, but we need to find a new home for our dog, Lucy. Due to some life events we are unable to give her the time and attention that she deserves. Lucy is a 3.5 year old basset hound (maybe older? We are basing her age on how old we were told when we got her). She is great with kids but does better with the older ones; great with cats and other dogs but can get defensive with larger dogs if there is food around. She loves to go for walks, have her belly rubbed, run around the backyard with the kids, and have treats. She isn’t very good at playing fetch, but we have been trying to teach her how to shake. She listens very well and is very well behaved/ hardly ever barks. Lucy will eat anything and everything when it comes to human food, but will only eat the large chunk dog food (we feed her Purina One). She is fixed and up to date on all of her shots (records on file at Pinkerton). We are asking $150 for her. She will come with a large kennel, 2 dog beds, a leash, dog shampoo, a seatbelt for riding in the car, as well as a food and water dish, and any food/treats that she has left.
