I hate how they are saying it would have been better for him to be forward facing so he would be less easily forgotten. A normal reason to switch your child back rear facing is because you learn its safer for them in a crash. But its also important to have a properly fitting seat so if he didnt fit in his infant seat like the article implies he would have been safer in a properly used forward facing seat.. That being said everything being reported about this case is shady so maybe they did that so they would have yet another excuse to not remember him :( I hate this case. How could anyone do that to their child? :(
