I hate it when I have a lot going on? It prompts me to ask God things like: Do you really know me, Lord? because Im sure Hes well aware that I am pretty content simply getting up, going to work, doing my job, going home, catering to my dog, wasting time on the Internet, watching TV, occasionally playing video games, going to sleep and then starting that process all over. Sure I bowl and go to the seasonal Columbus Motor Speedway, but those activities have been in my life nearly all of my life. However there are times when diversions from my well carried out routines are presented to me and I oblige, which is fine. Currently though, my itinerary has my mind fully occupied to where it compromises my comfort zone. So Lord? Is this your way of messing with me as a good friend would, or are you REALLY expecting me to address all of this youve thrown in my lap because quite frankly, Im a spoiled brat who has grown to not just accept his life, but actually enjoy it. And in all fairness, some of these things confronting me and demanding my attention, Im having trouble recognizing the necessity of them. I normally take everything in stride because I rarely find things overly daunting, but right now, so much is going on that I could not foresee, Im sure Im going to sabotage the correct, positive and healthy outcome that is supposed to occur due to who I am. I hope You let me in on the joke soon Lord, if it is a joke. If its not a joke, Im letting you know now, You may have too much faith in me to dismiss my routine.
