I hate it when this surfaces.. This is an old report about someone in Australia who said something he was not supposed to say. He was removed from the organization. As a reporter, volunteer, and fund raiser, and even a bell ringer, I have dealt with the Salvation Army for years. They are the definition of TRUE Christians. Go knock on their door and say you need help. They will say: “How can we help you.” Without question, judgment or proselytizing just like Jesus would have done. And yes, most everyone I worked with, met, talked to or interviewed with the SA knew I am Gay.
