I hate it when you hurt so bad that you cant take a tease, even when you KNOW its a tease. Seriously, this was the conversation going on between my pain and my common sense: Pain: She said WHAT?? Why Im gonna.... Common sense: Shes teasing, calm down. Pain: That didnt sound like a tease, and I am currently requisitioning the sarcastic response to return fire. Common sense: Thats counter productive. I have requested a pain pill from the team in oral function... just wait a minute. Pain: Screw you, you pacifist! Tired: Yeah, Im with pain! Well take this on!!! Common sense: Oh cripes, not you, too. Alright, thats it, triggering pressure relief system, and commencing full vocal lock down until you two decide to behave yourselves. Eyes: Pressure relief cycle completed. 5 tears shed, slight histamine response, now fading. Pain: You cant shut us up! Tired: We have ruled your mouth for more than 30 years! Common sense: Yeah, but I have been working out, and I wont let the two of you ruin any more relationships or cause any more hard feelings. You are NOT getting by me until you can speak reasonably, without sarcasm or spite. Pain: But.... Tired: Awwwww The nice part is, pain and tired dont like timeouts either, so they got ahold of themselves and decided to be reasonable.
