I hate that these animals will be hunted down and killed because they were merely sighted in their natural habitat that humans have claimed ownership over. They didnt even come into town, simply in the forest where they live. How about instead of video taping your dog running up to a cougar and harassing it, you put down your iPhone and get your dog? Clearly your tiny pup is a prey source for a hungry predator… but think of all the likes on youtube! So much fear and so little understanding or willingness to coexist. Guess what, its cougar season. If youre so scared that youre going to be eaten alive while frolicking in a predators territory, stay home.
