I hate the Ravens, so I hate Ray Rice for that reason alone and really dont care what happens to him. But our society has to quit being schizophrenic. Women supposedly have the same free will and freedom of self-determination as a man. It sure looks to me like Ray Rices fiancee at the time and now wife made the determination that she would take the occasional ass whipping for the lifestyle of an NFL players wife. Now the people that want to live her life for her have taken away the paycheck she so valued. At some point we have to make a decision. Are we going to treat women as equals or as little girls that need protection? She knew what she was getting when she married him. She weighed the pros and cons and made her choice. Not the choice I would have made, but none of my business. Modern feminists treat women in the most condescending way. She wasnt 15 when she made the decision to stay with a violent man and I assume exposing her children to him. Life is a series of choices and she made hers. Now the life she chose has been yanked out from under her because of political pressure. If she would have left him and pressed charges I would think differently, but she didnt. As far as I know she hasnt said a word.
