I hate the fact that this government under Cameron and Clegg are now stating they have found a magic solution for re-offending. The private sector Serco/G4 and the other cronies under the previous Conservative government, who were given a big chunk of the prison service that included escorts/courts and outsourced other areas to DHL, they have powerful backers to the conservative cause. Now the same Conservatives are chasing the probation service and trying to outsource their particular skills to the dole queue, and telling us that they will be able to work in partnership with voluntary organisations who can do their job equally well. It is rubbish we are heading towards an abyss that we will not recover from. They do not understand that the probation service is under pressure from their already stupid legislation, you cannot have high standards of entry for this profession and then hand it over to the private sector and say they can meet the same standards. Remember the Conservatives telling us the NHS was safe in their hands, they are now looking at CLOSING hospitals!!! The countries population is increasing not decreasing. I have voted for the Conservatives most of my life, I will never vote for this corrupt public schoolboy organisation again. When are we going to wake up and remember we are a country and not a business, we look after other countries, when are we going to look after our own people and our social structure. This may not be well constructed argument, it is said under anger and passion. WE HAVE TO WAKE UP, an election is looming. They are out their now telling us we can have pay rises and making us feel the feel good factor is all around us it is not, the moment we allow them to regain power is the moment we feel more pain for another 5 years. Rant over....
