I hate to be a little selfish in this post about 9/11 but a lot of people are sharing about where they were on this day 12 years ago. I was in bed laying next to my lovely wife watching tv, ready for the day to begin. 12 years later I am doing the EXACT same thing. This is the aspect of this day I have learned to appreciate. This is the aspect of this day that helps make me realize how lucky I am. . About the terrorist attacks, I think back to moments in history like the Selma to Montgomery march, the Kent State shootings and the Challenger & Columbia disasters. And I always wonder much more grief we can take as a country. How much more growing up do we have to do??? But if you look closer through all that disaster, hope always finds a way to peek out from behind the clouds.
