I hate to conclude that our nation, govt & people have submitted to de All Destructive CORRUPTION! Ill like to be guided properly, in case I seem to have overlooked something. Giant of Africa, Worlds Most Populous Black Nation, 160+million people, Top 10 Oil & other natural minerals endowed in de world, some of de brightest brains in All spheres of of life, de highest level of conspicuous luxury consumption in de world amidst poverty & squalor, world exporters haven and any other superlatives u can conjure, except continuous regression in socio-economic development. We are endowed with both human & material resources, but haplessly watch a very insignificant minority not only hijack and arrogate to themselves our entire common wealth, but also hypnotized de impoverished dominant majority into slavish acceptance that de evil being meted out to them is for their own Good! Nothing works in this Naija as in any other country, just for one reason, CORRUPTION! Everyone agrees with this conclusion. It therefore seems logical that, All we need to stride into de success league of developed & accomplished nations on earth given de resources we have is TAKE OUT CORRUPTION! Every govt that has come in to Fed, State & local administrations has pushed Fighting Corruption as top priority. Probes & Commissions have been set up to unveil de leaders of de corrupt practices in all areas, including Power, Banking, Capital Market, Cyber & oil theft, bunkering subsidy Rackets etc, resulting in findings (losses in mind bugling numbers) with indictment recommendations. Not one case has been conclusively followed up, while those indicted are de same ones running de show, both economically & politically. We can not even conduct credible elections, with previous knowledge & experience; de manipulations are so basic that it just defines a dishonest people! 35 governors held an election and de govt of de day decided to recognize 16 as majority over 19!!! Our universities have been shut down for close to six months when de President was a lecturer & our 1st lady was in Asia receiving award for Educational Achievement. De smartest economists in de world are telling us that Naija is not broke, but Cash strapped; our legislators are de highest paid in de world, with de ministers cruising around in bullet-proof super automobiles, de biggest presidential air fleet in de world, yet we dont have money to build roads, railways and pay salaries of workers as when due! What an irony!!! All we are hearing now is, Its our turn (to steal & grab), but not how to take out that monster, CORRUPTION!
