I hate to say it but I am now a fake Munroist !!! I have to re validate my Munroist status. I didnt go out to the Saddle point 200m from the trig in the mist in 2007 as I didnt know trig wasnt classed as the summit. Hid behind the happy knowledge that the trig was considered the Marilyn summit. However.... Recently Alan Dawson has accurately re-surveyed with proper GPS survey and eastern point is marginally higher. I now have no hiding place. Hope to go back to it end of the month ( maybe Sat 25th or Sunday26th though the Sunday will be after clocks go back) after Chris Watson s final Munro party on Ben Lomond on Sunday19th. Anyone up for a second Munro finish party with me?
