I hate to say it but #africans arent born with #african maps imprinted in their brains. Im (not) sorry to say it but we are not. Just because we live in Africa doesnt mean we know alllll about Africa. Fuq, do you know how many cultures are in an average African country?! (Rhetorical question) Do Americans know all about North America? Hell, the average Canadian couldnt point out #Attawapiskat on a map! Hell, most Southern Ontarians probably have no knowledge of its map north of Barrie. Sheed! When I use to joke with folks and say Im from #Djibouti, Id always get asked where is that?, till I met someone from there. Oh and did his face brighten! It must be lonely. We all know of the #UnitedStates because it bullies everyone else into KNoWing her. Its the insecured scared white hot blonde in teen movies; you know, the one that every guy wants, that flirts a lot and can crush every guy or girls dream by denying them her smile? The one you best not cross. Thats the United States. Canada is its little sister from another other. She aspires to be her but is different. On the other end of the hall are Togo, Cameroun, Cape Verde, Botswana, et. al. Theyre the artsy folks. The photography and dance courses gurus. They excel where no one really cares to. They keep to themselves. And then theres Nigeria. She does well in business, but is highly troubled. She is dark too, and that scares people. Oh but is she ever beautiful! Oh I have NO idea where I was going with this. Urmm... Hmm. I swear, I had a good point when I began this post. #stayingontopicistough #ineedabackrub
