I hate to see friends go through things like this. A few months - TopicsExpress

I hate to see friends go through things like this. A few months ago I set up a fundraiser for friends who had unexpected medical costs with their baby. Once again I would like to do this, but for another set of friends. Erin and Shane Farr had their baby boy and 13 days later he had to have open heart surgery. I have set up an event that will go through the end of the month to help raise money for this amazing little family. The money donated will help with medical costs for little Austin as he gets the treatment he needs and deserves. Please take the time to help them out! Austin Shane Far was born on 7/29/14 and appeared to be a very healthy baby boy. Five minutes before being discharged from the hospital, a nurse noticed that Austin was breathing rapidly and heard a heart murmur. Austin was examined and was monitored for a night and was released the next day. When Austin went back for his one week appt, the doctor noticed the murmur and decided to schedule a cardiology visit for the following day. At this appointment, Austin’s heart showed several defects. The most serious was a severe coarctation of the aorta, along with two holes in his heart. Austin was then rushed to Primary Children’s Cardiac ICU for treatment and to await surgery. At 13 days old, Austin underwent major open heart surgery for about 4 hours. The defect was more extensive than first anticipated, but the surgery went as well as hoped. This donation page is set up to help Austin and his family with the medical expenses that they have incurred by getting the best care and treatment for Austin as possible. ALL proceeds from this week long event will be donated to this sweet baby to help with the costs of his medical bills. https://perfectlyposh/perfectposhparty/events/59100
